Deposit Order
If you have only one account, the Deposit Order = 999
If you have two accounts:
- The Deposit Type = Amount or Percent and the Deposit Order = 1
- The Deposit Type = Balance and the Deposit Order = 999
If you have 3 accounts:
- The Deposit Type = Amount or Percent and the Deposit Order = 1
- The Deposit Type = Amount or Percent and the Deposit Order = 2
- The Deposit Type = Balance and the Deposit Order = 999
Direct Deposit Examples
Example 1:
I want my entire paycheck deposited into my checking account.
Account Type: Checking
Deposit Type: Balance
Amount/Percent:
Routing Number: 9 digit bank number
Account Number: Your Checking or Savings Account Number
Deposit Order: 1 (Please note: This will automatically convert to 999 when you save to allow for future accounts to be added.)
Example 2:
I want 10% of my paycheck deposited into my savings account and the rest of it deposited into my checking account.
Account Type: Savings
Deposit Type: Percent
Amount/Percent: 10
Routing Number: 9-digit bank number
Account Number: ##########
Deposit Order: 1
Account Type: Checking
Deposit Type: Balance
Amount/Percent:
Routing Number: 9-digit bank number
Account Number: ##########
Deposit Order: 2
Please note: Deposit Order #2 will automatically convert to #999 when you save; this keeps the PeopleSoft Payroll System consistent for net payrolls and will allow future accounts to be added.
Example 3:
I want to set up three accounts: $25.00 to my daughter's college
checking account, 20% to my son't savings, and the balance of my pay to
my checking account.
Account Type: Checking
Deposit Type: Amount
Amount/Percent: $25.00
Routing Number: 9 digit bank number

Keep in mind, if you are the person in this scenario and you earn less than $25.00, the total amount would be deposited into account #1 and nothing into accounts #2 or #3.
