Employee Resource Groups Home

At Georgia Tech, we are focused on engaging faculty, staff, and students who represent an array of backgrounds, perspectives, interests, and talents. That means going beyond seeking out and inviting diverse talent to join us. It’s about truly welcoming, valuing, promoting, accepting, and celebrating diversity in all its forms. Enter the Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).

The Office of Human Resources has created six ERGs to support the Institute’s efforts to enrich inclusive excellence within Tech’s workforce and ensure that employees have a greater sense of belonging. These voluntary employee associations, organized around common dimensions of diversity, have been designed to offer forums where like-minded employees can feel valued, respected, and celebrated.

While the ERGs revolve around the interests of those who self-identify with the specific elements of diversity of each group, any non-disruptive, rule-abiding employee is welcome to be a part of any of the ERGs.
