Georgia Tech’s Communication Center is holding a workshop on Thursday,
February 23, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m., in Clough Commons 447 for Georgia Tech
undergraduate students who are applying for a $1000 scholarship awarded
by the Georgia Tech Faculty Women’s Club. Applicants must have a GPA of
at least 2.75 and a parent or guardian currently employed at Georgia
Tech. The application deadline is March 1, 2012.

On Sunday, March 18, 2012, Georgia Tech’s Hydration Station will mark
the beginning of the last mile of the Publix Georgia Marathon & Half
Marathon. The tent will be located on Georgia Tech campus. Volunteers
are needed for set up, cheering, water distribution, and break down.
All prize money will benefit Georgia Tech campus health programs. Also –
all volunteers will receive a t-shirt and a goodie bag!

On February 14 and 15, the Georgia Tech Campus Recreation Center will
be hosting health screenings for students, faculty, and staff. The
screenings, performed by HealthCheck Services, will be held in Room 240
from 7:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on both days.
